Welcome! I teach basic needle felting techniques, write fiber processing guides, provide tutorials, and blog about whatever comes to mind (including homeschooling my two kids and my life in general). Oh, and I make things too!
Here you'll find the tutorials I have available for purchase, which you’ll also find in my shop. Below my paid tutorials you'll find my collection of free tutorials from the blog. If you are looking for guides to needle felting, check out the link to Felt & Fiber Guides. I also have a few tutorials available on my Youtube channel, including some W.I.P. videos so you can watch as I complete more complex projects from start to finish (but very sped up). I have taken a break from selling kits for the time being, but all the tutorials have supply lists for materials needed. You do not need to go out and buy those specific colors; in fact, I grant you permission to use whatever wool and colors you have on hand to make it your own, since the tutorials are more about teaching the techniques than creating an exact replica.
Learn how to needle felt by following along and needle felting with me with my detailed video tutorials! Unlike my other youtube videos, I talk you through the process of what I’m doing. Look over the photos and descriptions and add the ones that appeal to you to your cart. As soon as your payment goes through, you will receive a link to download a PDF with the instructions on how to access the tutorial page. You can either type in the exact link, or click on the corresponding button below.
Learn how to 2D needle felt these adorable, whimsical houses by following along with my 2-part detailed video. There is also a printable for you to trace onto your wool (I recommend using an iron-on transfer pen) and use as a coloring page to explore different color combos. Full supply list of colors I used is provided in the tutorial, but you can use what you have on hand.
To purchase, click add to cart on the right. This is a digital download - no physical product will be shipped to you. You will receive an email with a download link immediately after your payment is processed. If you miss the window, I can reissue the download link - just send me a message.
Learn wool painting on your own time, in the comfort of your own home. In this 2d needle felting tutorial, you will learn how to blend wool directly on the art through layering, as well as some 3D sculpting to make the tentacles pop out of the page. Full supply list of what I used is provided, though you can opt to use the colors you have on hand to make the octopus look how you want.

Learn how to make single-sided
needle felted feathers with some
top roving, a tiny bit of wool, a bit of cotton-coated wire and the alcohol markers of your choice. These aren’t tiny, but rather fairly large feathers and could be well suited for things like wall art, decorations, or even a garland if you make enough of them.

I’m trying something a bit different this time, and I’d love to know what you think if you try it. This tutorial isn’t for a project - it’s a tutorial on how to make your own needle felted corals using locks that you’ve either dyed yourself, or purchase from a needle felting supplier. If you can’t find crimpy locks, you can also try making your own.
I documented my process of making my Coral Coast piece in detail with photos, and I’m using those photos to show you how it’s made step by step.
Yours will not look like mine. It will look like yours, and I think that’s beautiful. I really look forward to seeing needle felted corals popping up all over the place.
The tutorials below are 100% free! Felt Journaling posts are now listed in the tutorials, because while they’re not tutorials to make a specific thing,
I do explore techniques in them that you can learn to implement into your own art.
You’ll find a mix of needle felting, wet felting (though I am not the best person to go to for that, but I have made things with wet felting), hand stitching, sewing, and other crafty things. If you love my content, and would love to see more free tutorials in here, I’d really love and appreciate the extra support!
You now have the option to sponsor a free needle felting tutorial to be listed below. Donations of $50 or more have the option of sponsoring a free tutorial of their choice and being publicly credited for the sponsorship on the post. Your tutorial will help needle felters for years to come (as long as this website is up), and if you have a creative business, you can use this to drive more people to your website platform. Unlike placed ads, which tend to cost more (I’ve done them on other sites), are surrounded by other ads, and are only up for a limited time, this is effectively permanent, and you get to help out others and the blog.
